Garden of Remembrance

On Friday, pupils were invited to Stockton’s Garden of Remembrance at Stockton Parish Church to commemorate Armistice Day. 

When selecting our representatives, it seemed fitting that we choose pupils who have made significant contributions to the promotion of this year’s Royal Legion Poppy Appeal.

Pupils each wrote a message on a cross and placed it in the Garden of Remembrance. They also listened to a speech from Victor, Mark Miller, and spoke to members of the public, including ex-Northfield staff John Herron, who worked in our PE department until 2000.
