Year 8 Rugby Success 🏉 Yesterday, the Year 8 rugby team travelled to Mowden Park Stadium in Darlington to compete in the County Cup Final against Red House School. The team demonstrated our school’s core values throughout, in what was an incredible first half — with both sides locked at 6 tries each at half-time 🔥 In the second half, Northfield stepped it up, playing a fast-paced and physical brand of rugby to secure an outstanding 13–8 victory and bring the trophy home 🏆 This is the first time the cup has been won since 2007 (Billingham Campus), making this achievement even more special. 📚🌍 Year 11 Geography Revision 🌍📚 Our Year 11 pupils are making a fantastic effort preparing for their upcoming GCSEs 💪🧠 An incredible 65 pupils attended a revision session on Saturday (10am–2pm), focusing on the critical knowledge needed for their Geography Paper 1 exam 🗺️✍️ They were absolutely brilliant and worked extremely hard throughout 👏🌟 They also managed to demolish a mountain of Domino’s pizza, crisps, pop and sweets 🍕🥤🍬😄 📅 Their next Geography session, focusing on Paper 2, will take place on Saturday 30th May (10am–2pm) 💻 Pupils can also join us on Teams at 5pm every Tuesday for Teatime Geography, as well as attend Thursday afterschool intervention in Room 210 We are really impressed with their progress and attitude, and are confident it will be reflected in their GCSE results 🌟📈 #Year11 #GCSEPrep #GeographyRevision #NorthfieldProud #TeamNorthfield #HardWorkPaysOff #ExamReady

🎭 Northfield Theatre Company Presents: Little Shop of Horrors 🌱✨ Our recent production of Little Shop of Horrors was an absolute joy from start to finish — and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved! 👏 Packed with catchy songs, quirky characters, and dark humour, this much-loved musical even brought the challenge of a man-eating plant to life 🌿😱 — and our cast and crew handled it brilliantly! From Seymour’s awkward charm to Audrey’s warmth and sincerity, every performance was filled with confidence, personality, and talent 🌟 A huge congratulations to our cast for their dedication throughout rehearsals and performances. 🏅🏃 Panathlon Multi Sports Event 🏃🏅 On Wednesday 1st April, our Sports Leaders were involved in running a Panathlon Multi Sports event for primary and secondary schools in the local area. 👏 Once again, they showed incredible leadership skills, ensuring the events ran smoothly while being motivational and encouraging to all pupils involved 💪🌟 In the afternoon, a group of our Year 7 pupils took part in the competition. 🧪⚛Science Residential ⚛🧪 We were delighted to provide our pupils with a fantastic opportunity that combined academic support with a well-earned reward 🎓✨ During the visit, pupils took part in targeted science sessions designed to strengthen their understanding of key concepts, address any learning gaps, and support improvements in their overall academic performance. After all their hard work and commitment, pupils also enjoyed some well-deserved time to relax together. The trip included a meal at Pizza Hut 🍕, a fun bowling session 🎳, and free time at the Metro Centre.
