These magnificent Year 10 pupils have signed up for the Young Reporters Challenge this year. 👏⭐
Under the expert guidance of Mrs Emmerson, with a little help from last year's National Winner and Year 11 pupil Chloe, they will be submitting 8 newspaper articles over the next 8 months. Every article will be featured in the Northern Echo! 🖊️🗞️

Yesterday, our Northfield School Under 15 Rugby Team travelled to Allen's West and kicked off their Cleveland County League campaign. 💪🏆
Over two separate days, the team played 3 matches.

🏉 Dyke House Academy – 4–1 Win ✅
After a fantastic comeback, the Under 15s have secured their place in the Cup Group before the October Half Term! 🏆👏

📚🕵️ Author Visit – Peter Burns 🕵️📚
On Friday, our Year 7 pupils enjoyed a fantastic session in the library with bestselling author Peter Burns. ✨
He spoke to pupils about how he created the Shadow Thieves series, sharing creative writing tips on building a story, creating exciting plots and developing memorable characters. ✍️📖
Pupils were then set an interactive challenge to solve a mystery through a series of puzzles, putting their detective skills to the test to see if they had what it takes to join the Shadow League! 🔍🧩
Pupils also had the opportunity to ask Peter questions about his books and writing, as well as purchase signed copies of his novels. 📚✍️
A huge thank you to Drake The Bookshop for bringing this fantastic opportunity to Northfield. 💙

On Thursday 17th, our Year 11 Netball Team took part in their last tournament at Grangefield School. 👏
The girls played 3 games in very challenging, windy conditions. 🌬️💪
