***YEAR 11 PARENTS/CARERS***

We are delighted to announce that the Year 11 Prom will take place on Thursday 30th June 2022 at Hardwick Hall.  The evening will begin with a red- carpet reception at Northfield School at 6:00pm. It is here where parents, carers and other family members can come to take photographs and enjoy the final prom preparations.

We will leave Northfield School at 6:30pm -6:45pm to make our way via coaches to Hardwick Hall, where pupils can enjoy an evening of dancing and celebration. Coaches will pick up from Hardwick Hall at 11pm and transport pupils back to Northfield School for collection and transport home by you.

Prom invites will be distributed in waves. The first wave will include those pupils with immaculate school records, including 100% attendance (Covid 19 absence excluded), 0 behaviour points and an abundance of achievement points. If your child is not included in the first wave, there will be opportunity during the second and third waves.

Those pupils with 10 behaviour points or less will be invited in the second wave if attendance is acceptable.  In some instances, before a prom invitation is given, a discussion with you and your child may be required to ensure that positive learning behaviours are improved and maintained. In this instance, your child maybe invited in the third wave.

The cost of a prom ticket will be £45. This includes hire of a function suite at Hardwick Hall, a DJ, an evening buffet and coach travel to and from the venue. The evening will also include finishing touches and a photo booth. We are delighted to say that for each half term a pupil has achieved 100% attendance, they will accrue £5 off the cost of the prom. This incentive runs until February half term meaning some pupils will receive up to £15 off the price of a ticket.

Initially, prom payment for all pupils must be paid in full; refunds for 100% attendance will be given at a later date. Invitations will be given along with instructions on how to pay the prom fee.

Northfield School’s annual prom is a reward and therefore, we reserve the right to withdraw or invite pupils. In this instance, we would always speak with you first.

Can we take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and partnership over the past four and a half years.
