Finance Assistant

Start: September 2025
Contract: 22.5 hrs/wk (3 days, Monday – Wednesday) term time only plus 10 days
Salary: Grade G point 9 – 12, £14,229 - £14,930 (actual pay)
Closing Date: Friday 4th July 2025, 12 noon

We are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Assistant who will assist the Director of Business & Finance in the achievement of the school’s educational aims through efficient management of financial resources. The role has a varied remit across a range of finance and administrative duties, within a busy school office environment.

The successful candidate will have excellent and accurate numeracy and literacy skills and an ability to use ICT and other specialist finance resources effectively. An ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team is essential. Experience in the use of school financial systems such as Agresso or similar would be beneficial.
