Face Coverings in School

The Department for Education has announced that face coverings are to be worn in classrooms as well as communal areas when pupils return this week. The guidance applies to all pupils and staff, except those that are medically exempt. Teaching staff will remove their face coverings when teaching from the front. They do not need to be worn in outdoor social areas or during practical PE lessons, but should be worn in the changing rooms.

Face coverings must also be worn on public and school transport.

To help support with this, please could you ensure that your child (unless medically exempt) brings a face covering to school each day.
