Northfield Boys Crowned Boccia Champions!

Congratulations to Year 7 pupils; Sonny, Alex, Daniel, and Michael, for winning gold in the Stockton Schools Sports Partnership boccia tournament held at Durham Sports College.

The tournament kicked off with the heats and the boys finished with the highest number of points, winning all games, to take them to the final. The team was on a winning streak and put on another outstanding performance to win all three rounds of the final.

Mrs Leighton, Learning Support Assistant at Northfield, commented: "Considering the pupils had never played boccia before they did amazingly well!"
